What is yoga?
Yoga is an ancient practice that connects body, mind, and soul.
The word "yoga" comes from Sanskrit and means "connection" or "union." Yoga includes physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, and mantras. All of this is aimed at cultivating inner peace and balance.
Yoga enhances body awareness, builds strength, supports mental clarity, fosters emotional stability, and reduces stress. This contributes to long-term wellbeing. Even small daily steps can have a lasting effect. What matters most is consistency.

What does yoga mean to me?
Yoga deepens my connection with myself, with others, and with the world around me. For me, it's a respectful and compassionate way of living.
By regularly practicing yoga poses (asanas), my body has gained strength and stability. Yoga helps me to perceive my body more consciously. It regulates my nervous system, teaches me to act with intention, and to attentively feel what my body truly needs. Yoga also calms my mind, helps me breathe more consciously and brings greater peace into my life.
To me, yoga is a foundation for balance, presence and self-care.
What do my yoga classes look like?
I teach a traditional form of yoga that I learned in India. My yoga classes focus primarily on breath and awareness.
You will learn to listen to your body, recognize your boundaries, and respect them.
In my classes you consciously take the time to integrate rest and balance into your life.
In today’s fast-paced society, it is especially valuable to cultivate slowness and calmness as essential resources.
Over time, you will become more resilient - mentally and physically.

During Cacao & Connect, we consciously take the time to connect with ourselves and others. We slow down, reflect, and create space for connection.
In a safe and supportive environment, space is created for sharing, listening, and relaxation.
Together we enjoy high-quality cacao from Colombia, known for its heart-opening effect.
This is followed by a mindfulness or awareness exercise that contributes to relaxation and inner peace.
A guided reflection exercise invites you to explore your personal goals, thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
